About the Role

David Taylor Digital is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Digital Project Manager to manage website design and development projects and ongoing website request support.

This role is responsible for coordinating website projects from kickoff through launch, keeping timelines and deliverables on track, monitoring project scope and hours, and ensuring clear communication between clients and our internal team. You will also manage daily website requests for clients who rely on DTD for website hosting and maintenance, coordinating with our development team to ensure requests are completed accurately and within agreed-upon service-level agreements (SLAs).

The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator and problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities, anticipate roadblocks, and ensure projects and requests move forward efficiently. You should be comfortable working with WordPress and project management software, with a strong focus on organization, follow-through, and client experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Project Management

  • Coordinate website design and development projects from kickoff through launch, managing timelines, milestones, deliverables, and task assignments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for website project clients, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain project plans in Asana or comparable project management software.
  • Coordinate with designers, developers, and other internal team members to keep projects moving and resolve day-to-day roadblocks.
  • Coordinate client feedback, revisions, approvals, and project milestones to maintain momentum.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of website deliverables to confirm they meet project requirements before client review or launch.

Customer Success & Website Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing website support clients, managing daily website requests and client communications.
  • Receive, clarify, document, and prioritize incoming requests, translating them into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Manage the production queue and coordinate with developers to ensure requests are completed within established SLAs.
  • QA completed work to confirm accuracy and functionality before communicating completion to clients.
  • Monitor open requests, follow up on outstanding tasks, and proactively communicate delays or changes in timelines.
  • Identify requests that fall outside a client's existing agreement and coordinate next steps with the appropriate team members.

Process & Team Coordination

  • Maintain accurate project plans, task statuses, timelines, and client communications within DTD's project management systems.
  • Balance competing priorities across active website projects and ongoing support requests.
  • Communicate project risks, capacity concerns, and potential deadline or budget issues to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and project coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to maintain visibility into workloads, upcoming deadlines, and production capacity.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

  • 2+ years experience managing digital projects in an agency setting, involving website design, development, or ongoing website support.
  • Experience using project management software such as Asana or a comparable platform
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, including website administration, content management, and website QA (no coding required)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when coordinating between clients and technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, thorough quality assurance.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, follow-through, and deadline management.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with a fully remote team.

What sets you apart:

  • Familiarity with technical knowledge of website hosting, maintenance, plugins, and common WordPress issues.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and how a website supports broader marketing efforts, including SEO, paid media, and lead generation.
  • Experience tracking project budgets, hours, scope, and service-level agreements.
  • Familiarity with digital agency workflows and client service agreements.
