About the role

This is a senior systems improvement and optimisation role, initially focused on the HR & Payroll System (CHRIS), the integrated Applicant Tracking System and the Finance System. The postholder will lead optimisation and continuous improvement, drive adoption and effective use, and turn agreed priorities into practical improvements. Working with colleagues, suppliers and subject matter experts, they will help make sure systems deliver value for colleagues and the organisation. While these systems are the primary focus, the role works across a connected systems environment and develops wider understanding of how systems, processes, integrations and data work together.

The role of a Digital System Manager is to lead practical improvements that improve system performance, adoption, user experience and organisational value within agreed priorities.

Duties will include:

  • Lead improvement and optimisation activity across assigned business systems, with clear outcomes and timescales.
  • Turn agreed priorities into practical delivery plans and monitor progress, dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Drive adoption, effective use and continuous improvement using system insight, user feedback and operational evidence.
  • Work with colleagues, subject matter experts and suppliers to agree and deliver improvements.
  • Improve processes, data quality, integrations and user experience across connected systems.
  • Support shared knowledge and cross-training, and provide clear recommendations based on evidence and insight.

About you

To be a Digital System Manager at Certitude, the following are essential:

  • Significant experience improving and optimising business-critical systems in a complex organisation.
  • Experience translating agreed priorities into practical improvements and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience driving system adoption, effective use and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working effectively with stakeholders, subject matter experts and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of systems, data, processes and integrations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build agreement across teams.
