About the Opportunity
An established global professional services organisation is continuing to invest in the technology and digital experiences that support its people across Australia and internationally.
Operating across a large, highly collaborative global environment, the organisation has a strong focus on innovation, technology and improving the way its people work. There is significant investment underway across digital platforms, employee experience and the broader use of technology to create more connected, intuitive and effective ways of working.
Culture is a big part of the environment. The organisation offers genuinely flexible working, places a strong emphasis on learning and development, and encourages people to bring forward ideas rather than simply maintain the status quo.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on digital platform role sitting across web development, CMS, digital workplace and technology.
A key focus will be the organisation's Sitecore-powered public website, where you'll support ongoing platform changes, enhancements and technical issues. You'll work across page and component configuration, platform support and troubleshooting, alongside the broader development and evolution of the website.
This isn't simply a content publishing role. We're looking for someone who is comfortable getting into the technical side of Sitecore and web platforms - investigating issues, troubleshooting problems and understanding what's happening behind the user interface.
Depending on your background, this might include working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, integrations, logs, debugging, scripting or more complex platform configuration. You don't need to come from one prescribed development stack, but you should be technically curious and comfortable investigating and resolving issues yourself.
You'll also work across SharePoint Online , supporting the organisation's global intranet and employee digital experience. This may include building and improving modern sites and pages and working with hubs, permissions, content types, lists, libraries and modern web parts.
You'll have the opportunity to influence how these platforms evolve rather than simply keeping the lights on.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong experience working with Sitecore and Sharepoint Online
- Technical experience supporting, configuring and troubleshooting web/CMS platforms
- The ability to investigate and resolve technical platform issues rather than solely managing content
- Hands-on web development capability, including HTML and CSS
- Experience with JavaScript or similar web development technologies
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Experience working across platform enhancements, change requests and BAU support
- Experience working with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions
- An understanding of responsive design and good digital experience principles
It's a bonus (but not a dealbreaker) if you have experience with a mix of the following:
- Modern SharePoint sites, pages, hubs, permissions, content types, lists, libraries and web parts
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- APIs and integrations
- Scripting or automation
- Logs, debugging and platform diagnostics
- SPFx or PowerShell
- Public-facing website management
- Digital design systems and brand standards
- Working within a large enterprise or professional services environment
You don't need to tick every box.
We're particularly interested in people who sit somewhere between Sitecore/CMS, web development and digital platforms - someone who understands good digital experiences, but importantly has the technical depth to build, troubleshoot and support the technology behind them.
This isn't a purely UX, design or content-focused position. You'll be at your best here if you enjoy getting hands-on with technology, investigating problems and understanding what's happening behind the interface.
