Duties

• Safely transport and serve freshly steamed dim sum from carts to guests at their tables, maintaining optimal food quality and presentation
• Assist with setting up and organizing carts, ensuring they are stocked with all necessary food items, utensils, and condiments
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, explaining menu items and answering questions about the dim sum offerings
• Maintain cleanliness of carts and dining areas through regular cleaning and bussing duties, adhering to food safety standards
• Handle manual lifting of food trays, carts, and supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Support kitchen staff by performing food running duties, ensuring timely delivery of dishes from kitchen to dining area
• Assist with in-person customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; culinary or hospitality background is a plus
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and perform cleaning duties as needed

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
