Dining Operations Associate

Job Summary
The Jones Assembly seeks a dependable, organized, service-focused Dining Operations Associate to support daily dining activities and help ensure smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will assist with guest service, food and beverage coordination, dining area preparation, supplies, cleanliness, and communication between service teams while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily dining and front-of-house operations.
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist with preparing dining areas, tables, and service stations before and during service.
• Support food and beverage service and ensure orders are delivered accurately.
• Communicate guest requests and special instructions to servers and kitchen staff.
• Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently.
• Monitor dining areas and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining and service areas.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, packaging, and other supplies.
• Assist servers and other team members during busy service periods.
• Help coordinate communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Answer basic guest questions and assist with routine requests.
• Report service issues, equipment concerns, or supply shortages to management.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, dining service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to support coworkers.
