Dining Room Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Dining Room Server to join our team. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of POS systems such as Micros POS. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas according to sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Must have current Step 2 TB test, food handlers and smart serve certificate
• Current criminal and vulnerable check (within 6 months)
• Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Basic kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality industry
