Dining Service Associate

Job Summary
Arch City Tavern is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Dining Service Associate to support daily dining operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. The ideal candidate will assist with food and beverage service, guest requests, dining area preparation, table service, cleanliness, and general restaurant support while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, attentive service.
• Assist with preparing dining areas, tables, and service stations before and during service.
• Support food and beverage service according to restaurant standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests accurately and promptly.
• Assist guests with menu questions, food selections, and general dining requests.
• Communicate special requests and guest needs to servers, kitchen staff, and management.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently between guests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable dining and service areas.
• Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, menus, and other dining supplies.
• Assist servers and other team members during busy service periods.
• Monitor dining areas and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Assist with customer pickup, takeout, and food packaging when needed.
• Operate POS systems and support routine customer transactions as assigned.
• Report guest concerns, equipment issues, or supply shortages to management.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other routine restaurant duties.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, dining service, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and service quality.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities during busy periods.
• Good teamwork and willingness to assist coworkers.

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving for extended periods.
• Basic familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
