Dining Service General Worker

Dana Hall School seeks candidates for the full-time position of Dining Service General Worker. The individual in this position will be accountable for:

• Cleaning, ware washing, pot washing, operating dish room, stocking, sweeping, and mopping
• Ensuring that all of the generated trash is disposed of properly and in a timely manner
• Maintaining the overall upkeep of sanitation and housekeeping in the unit
• Assisting with basic kitchen tasks
• Providing guidance and direction to assigned helpers, such as temporary employees

Candidates should have: an ability to provide a high degree of customer contact (internal, external), and a willingness to learn and perform various tasks, as needed. Previous kitchen/janitorial experience is a plus.

Candidates must have: a high school diploma or GED, a valid Massachusetts driver’s license in good standing, an ability to safely operate a panel van, and an ability to carry and move at least 50 lbs.

This is a 12-month, full-time position. Hours are 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. All hours are subject to change and may be adjusted to meet demands. We are committed to supporting the well-being of our team by offering generous benefits. Salary range is $18-$21 per hour.
