Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dining Services Aide to join our Dietary Services team. This individual plays a key role in supporting the nutritional well-being of our residents by ensuring meals are delivered accurately, safely, and with care. The role includes meal preparation support, food service, and cleaning responsibilities in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals and snacks
• Deliver trays to residents’ rooms or dining areas according to schedule
• Ensure meal accuracy, including texture modifications and special diets
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and food prep areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items using approved sanitation methods
• Replenish supplies in service areas and maintain proper food storage
• Follow all infection control and food safety standards
• Provide respectful and dignified service to all residents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in healthcare food service or hospitality is a plus
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful toward individuals with disabilities
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed
