Dining Services Assistant

Job Summary

Oskar’s Slider Bar is hiring a Dining Services Assistant to support daily restaurant and dining operations. This role assists with guest service, food and order preparation, dining-area organization, restocking, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist with taking and preparing customer orders
• Support food and beverage service as needed
• Maintain clean and organized dining, counter, and service areas
• Assist with setting up and resetting dining areas
• Restock beverages, condiments, packaging, and service supplies
• Support kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods
• Assist with packaging takeout and delivery orders
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Perform additional dining and restaurant support duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience in restaurant or food service operations
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
