Dining Services Specialist

Job Summary

Twisted Cork Bistro is hiring a Dining Services Specialist to provide attentive guest service and support daily dining room operations. This role assists with guest requests, food and beverage service, order coordination, table organization, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional dining service
• Assist guests with menu questions, food selections, and service requests
• Take and accurately communicate food and beverage orders
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure timely order delivery
• Deliver food and beverages according to restaurant service standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly arranged dining areas
• Monitor tables and respond promptly to guest needs
• Process customer payments accurately when required
• Restock dining supplies, utensils, napkins, and service materials
• Clear, clean, and reset tables throughout service
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant operations
• Perform additional dining service duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, dining, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience in full-service restaurant or dining operations
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Familiarity with POS systems and order processing
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to remain professional during busy service periods
