DINING STAFF

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, seat them, and attend to their needs throughout their visit.
• Order Taking: Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serving: Deliver food and beverages promptly; check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables, keep the dining area clean and presentable.
• Payment Handling: Process bills, accept payments, and handle cash or card transactions accurately (where applicable).
• Menu Knowledge: Know the menu well enough to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Cleanliness: Wipe tables, sweep floors, and keep condiments and supplies stocked.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Compliance: Follow food safety, hygiene, and service standards at all times.

• Friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to stand and move for long periods and carry trays or plates.
• Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure.
• Basic math skills for handling payments (where applicable).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior serving or customer-service experience is a plus, but training can be provided.
