Diploma Engineer Trainee / SRM Machine Operator

We are looking for an energetic and responsible Diploma Engineer to join our production team at Rational Engineering Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for operating the SRM (Stretch Reducing Mill / Specialized Rolling Machine), monitoring daily copper production, maintaining process parameters, and preparing accurate shift-wise production and quality reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the SRM machine safely and efficiently as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Inspect raw materials and finished copper products to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform regular parameter checks, basic machine setup, and minor troubleshooting during operations.
• Prepare daily, shift-wise production logs, machine downtime records, and output reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to minimize machine stoppage.
• Adhere strictly to shop floor safety guidelines, industrial hygiene, and company protocols.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in machine operation within copper, brass, steel, or metal manufacturing plants.
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of metal forming/rolling machines (SRM experience will be an added advantage).
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Word) or ability to maintain physical logbooks and daily production reports.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
• Good technical understanding, problem-solving mindset, and teamwork.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
