St John's Lutheran Outside School Hours Care is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Educator to join our welcoming and supportive team.

Our OSHC is buzzing with energy, laughter and a strong connection to the community. Located next door to the vibrant St John’s Lutheran Kindergarten and School community, we provide children with a safe, nurturing and fun-filled place to grow before school, after school and during holidays.

🎈 About the Role

As an Educator, you will:

• Supervising and engaging children in a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences that promote learning, wellbeing and enjoyment
• Creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where children feel supported and valued
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework and the National Quality Framework
• Building positive relationships with children, families, staff and the school community
• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team
• Undertaking Responsible Person duties when required
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, including maintaining a clean, organised and safe environment

✅ About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Diploma in Children's Services or another ACECQA-approved qualification
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
• A current Paid Blue Card
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Previous experience in OSHC, childcare or a similar education and care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, professional and proactive approach to your work
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
• A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service
• Current Child Protection Training in accordance with Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law
