Dir, Innovative Enterprise Data Product Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Dir, Innovative Enterprise Data Product Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will own the strategy and lifecycle for enterprise data products that support strong data standards, governance, and business definitions across the organization. The ideal candidate will partner closely with data enablement and cross-functional stakeholders to reduce duplication, improve reliability, and ensure data products deliver real operational value. This position also focuses on driving adoption, embedding metadata and business logic into product design, and establishing the governance routines needed to support an AI-ready data ecosystem.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $185,500 – $344,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and lifecycle for data standards and governance
• Define data products by embedding business logic and metadata
• Collaborate with data enablement teams to execute strategy and address operational barriers
• Engage with cross-functional teams to prioritize valuable capabilities and minimize duplication
• Drive stakeholder engagement and enhance product usage based on feedback
• Establish governance routines and service expectations for product reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, technology, or consulting focused on data products and strategy
• 5+ years of experience in reference data, master data, metadata management, and data governance
• Experience defining product visions and roadmaps in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of AI-ready data products and business definitions
