Direct Care Professional

About Us: Cecelia’s Care is dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with developmental disabilities by providing compassionate, respectful, and consistent care. We are seeking dependable and skilled Direct Care Professionals to support individuals in a residential facility setting.

Compensation: Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Night and weekend shifts receive a $1.00 shift differential, for a total of $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Prepare and serve meals/snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines
• Assist with the self-administration of medications
• Monitor and document individuals’ physical and emotional well-being using electronic systems
• Support individuals during community outings and social activities
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean living environment by following all agency and regulatory standards
• Participate in routine trainings and staff meetings
• Drive agency vehicles to transport residents as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (must provide proof upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or mental health diagnoses
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to pass a criminal background check
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, data entry)
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Prior experience in a group home or residential care setting
• Familiarity with state compliance standards and electronic health records

Schedule:

• 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts available
• Day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Monday to Friday and weekend availability
