Direct Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you will help individuals achieve greater independence, pursue their personal goals, and participate fully in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and community engagement
• Promote independence, informed choice, and self-advocacy
• Develop positive, respectful relationships and provide companionship
• Administer medications following completion of required training
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, comfortable living environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, with current automobile insurance and vehicle registration
• A minimum of two years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with autism or intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification

Pay: $16.00 per hour
