**Overview:** We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to residents in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. **Responsibilities:** - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents - Monitor and record vital signs - Implement behavior management techniques as needed - Perform heavy lifting when required - Ensure resident rights are respected at all times - Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents - Provide specialized care such as dementia or hospice care **Requirements:** - Previous experience in social work, home community care, or related field is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility - Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures - Familiarity with vital signs monitoring - Understanding of dementia care and hospice care principles - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and patient demeanor Joining our team as a Direct Care Worker offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field.
