Job Overview

Beck N' Call is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker/Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care and have experience supporting individuals with diverse needs. This role involves assisting clients with personal care, following care plans, and ensuring their safety and comfort of client in their home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support while respecting residents' dignity and rights.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and adherence to HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Promote positive stimulation and positive social interaction for client
• Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols including first aid and infection control standards (hand washing)

Requirements

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly preferred
• Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude for caring for senior citizens
• Demonstrated ability to monitor patients’ vital signs and recognize signs of distress or health deterioration.
• Proficiency in assisting with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to communicate with Office staff and use Electronic Visit Verification by APP on cellular phone
• MUST has own vehicle,valid Driver's License and insured vehicle

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
