Direct Material Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market studies to evaluate and select raw material and component suppliers, ensuring alignment with manufacturing quality standards through periodic assessments.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and favorable terms with direct material vendors to achieve significant cost savings and ensure supply stability.
• Coordinate material purchase needs with the production and planning departments, accurately managing all procurement data and purchase orders.
• Prepare a rolling material forecast for suppliers and generate monthly reports on cost savings, price variances, and vendor delivery performance.
• Maintain all purchasing records and foster strong communication channels with both suppliers and internal manufacturing users.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any major with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably handling direct materials or within a manufacturing supply chain environment.
• Possess strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities to effectively manage commodity pricing and supplier contracts.
• Prior experience or familiarity with the SAP system is a plus.
• Proficient in English; ability to communicate in Chinese will be an advantage.
• Willing to be based in our Karawaci office and mobile if needed.
