Direct Material Purchasing Manager

• Purchase Order Management Management: Create, release, and track purchase orders;

verify specs, pricing, and delivery terms.

• Supplier OTD: Monitor regional delivery performance, resolve delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Daily Procurement: Execute spot buys, maintain ERP data integrity (SAP/Oracle), and ensure audit-ready records.
• Regional Oversight: Standardize processes across sites and align purchasing plans with corporate forecasts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to balance inventory and avoid shortages or excess.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of buyers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement; Provide training on systems, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in direct material purchasing, preferably in the electronics or high-tech manufacturing sector.
• Experience managing regional procurement operations or multi-site purchasing teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.
• Familiarity with industry-specific supply chain dynamics and raw materials.
