Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist individuals with grooming, personal hygiene, and self-care.
• Provide behavioral support and positive guidance.
• Assist with medication administration as required.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Encourage independence, personal growth, and the development of daily living skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous paid experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, with at least six months of experience desired.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• Must be able to successfully complete DOJ fingerprint clearance and drug screening.
• Must demonstrate reliability, patience, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others.
