Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Direct Support Caregivers & Regstered Nurses to provide assistance to individuals with diverse needs. You will support with their daily activities, promote independence and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.

Position #1: As an RN, you will assist a friendly young man with activities including but not limited to: personal care and hygiene, meals, medications, maintaining safety, supporting communication goals and providing companionship. Experience with a communication device, g-tubes and hoyer lift is needed for his care, and we will provide hands-on training and support. This position requires the use of PPE. You will be expected to wear a mask during your shift for the individual's safety and wellbeing.

Shift: Saturdays 10am - 10pm, $32-36 per hour. Pittsburgh, PA

Position #2: Seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist a young man with 1:1 support in his home & community. He is an active individual who enjoys participating in his community. Some of his interests include listening to music, singing karaoke, swimming, biking, bowling, playing the piano, and using electronics. You could be a part of enhancing his daily life and independence by providing positive support in accordance with his goals and support plan.

Shift: Saturdays: 9am -5pm, $20-$25 per hour (Starting with every other Saturday, with room for more hours & on call shifts). Pittsburgh, PA

Position #3: Support a young college student with learning young adult living skills. He is working towards independent living & wants to work on skills such as: grocery shopping, kitchen safety, organizing and daily living tasks. You could support hm with learning how to prepare meals, utilize his Google calendar and practice his PT exersizes.

Shift: Weekends flexible, 4 hours. $20 per hour. Allison Park, PA

Requirements and Qualifications

• Some college or experience preferred for DSP roles
• Associate or bachelor's in nursing required for nurse specific role
• Valid state nursing license
• Experience as a nurse in a hospital or other health care setting
• Understanding of standard medical practices and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and great bedside manner
• Ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Be Covid vaccinated and willing to follow all CDC, state, and local health guidelines
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
