Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to support health management
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and maintain detailed medication records
• Support residents with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely and respectfully
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Engage clients in social activities, recreational programs, and meaningful interactions to enhance quality of life
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces

Requirements

• Prior experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or personal care homes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavior management techniques
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges using patience and empathy
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in medication administration is a plus
• Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation purposes
• Valid driver’s license for transportation duties or community outings is advantageous
• Strong communication skills combined with a genuine passion for caregiving and supporting others
