Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Robbinsville, NJ.
The individual is non-verbal and requires support both at home and in the community. We are looking for someone who is attentive, caring, and able to recognize and respond to non-verbal communication, gestures, and individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support with daily activities.
- Accompany the individual on community outings and recreational activities.
- Communicate patiently and effectively with a non-verbal individual.
- Promote the individual's safety, comfort, and well-being.
Qualifications
- Patient, reliable, compassionate, and responsible.
- Comfortable supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Reliable transportation is preferred for community outings.
