This role supports adults with developmental disabilities in a licensed residential setting in Rosamond, California. Our team members provide daily care, structure, encouragement, and supervision in a safe and respectful home environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide support with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meals)
• Assist with medication administration (self-administered per physician order)
• Prepare meals and follow established menus
• Maintain cleanliness of the home (housekeeping and laundry)
• Monitor and report changes in resident health or behavior
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Support implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPP)
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities
• Follow emergency and safety procedures
• Maintain professional communication with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications

Required:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass Live Scan (DOJ/FBI clearance)
• TB clearance and physical exam
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to participate in required trainings

Preferred:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Prior caregiving or residential support experience

Weekend and/or overnight availability preferred for full-time positions.
