Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct services to individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities who attend the Adult Day Services Program, using principles of Behavior Analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Teach skills in individual and group settings
• Follow all schedules and lesson plans
• Provide personal care to individuals
• Implement Behavior Support Plans
• Implement Person Centered Individual Support Plans
• Implement High Risk Protocols
• Medication Administration, as necessary
• Complete agency documentation
• Physically assist individuals, as necessary
• Participate in agency trainings
• Participate in supervision and agency meetings as scheduled
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be engaged with clients at all times
• Clear Criminal Background Check
• TB test required
• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
• Ability to physically assist consumers for transfer and physical intervention
