Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
• Support residents in meal preparation, feeding, and nutrition management in accordance with care plans
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being
• Administer medication following prescribed instructions while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards
• Support clients during outings or appointments through personal transportation assistance and community engagement

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with resident’s rights, HIPAA compliance, and care plan implementation ensures quality support

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
