Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:

OVERNIGHT 10p-7:45a OSOC

We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and support to individuals with Developmental Disabilities by providing overnight supervision in their home and followng OISP. You will help maintain a safe environment for individuals in the home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide reminders on bathing, dressing, grooming
• Monitor health status regularly to ensure safety and well-being including supervision levels
• Administer morning and PRN medications
• Assist with praparing meals as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Observe closely for changes in behavior or health conditions

Experience

• Prior experience working in home health environments is prefered.
• Have or obtain Adult CPR/AED, First Aid, and medication administration certs
• Experience caring for individuals developmental disabilities and those with behaviors
• Familiarity with care plans development and implementation tailored to individual needs
• Strong observational skills in monitoring and safety management

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• DSP: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Ohio Drivers License (Required)

• Overnight Shift (Required)
