Service Area: South Orange County, including Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Huntington Beach and surrounding communities.

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll be a trusted presence in the lives of those we serve. Whether you’re helping with day-to-day tasks or supporting a new life skill, you’ll play a meaningful role in someone’s journey toward greater independence.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with everyday activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and personal hygiene routines.
• Take individuals on community outings—whether for appointments, errands, or just to enjoy the day.
• Track and document changes in overall health and behavior to support their care.
• Provide guidance and support in areas such as employment readiness and personal development
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
• Encourage independence by gradually reducing support as clients gain confidence
• Stay informed about employment and labor laws to ensure compliance in coaching practices.
• Mentor clients through challenges, fostering resilience and self-advocacy.
• Support clients with job readiness activities such as resume preparation, interviewing practice, and soft skill development.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
• Willingness to undergo a state and federal fingerprint background check.
• CPR Certification and a recent TB test .
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus—but if you bring passion and dedication, we’ll provide the training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining client records.
• A caring heart and a commitment to helping others live with dignity and independence.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Direct support: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Orange County, CA (Required)
