Overview
We are seeking energetic and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting a positive, supportive environment. Your efforts will directly enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including cognitive and/or physical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior
• Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident lifts safely to support mobility and prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols
• Document resident progress, update care plans, and communicate effectively with team members about any concerns or observations

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
• Strong observational skills for resident monitoring and patient safety assurance
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality
• Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills
• Valid certifications in CPR and first aid are desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
