Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, hygiene, and meal preparation to promote independence.
• Support clients in community integration, including transportation, social activities, appointments, and recreational outings.
• Collect and record behavioral or progress data accurately to support individualized service plans.
• Implement individualized support strategies based on person‑centered planning and evidence‑based practices.
• Provide direct support in home and community settings as needed.
• Assist clients in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills using supportive teaching techniques
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and professionals to ensure consistency in support strategies and progress tracking.

Skills

• Understanding of behavior support strategies, person‑centered planning, and developmental disability services.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, especially autism or neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Proficiency in data collection, progress documentation, and communication logs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and client privacy requirements.
• Home‑based or community‑based support experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and motivation to support client success through consistent, compassionate care.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
