Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety standards
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviors
• Operate standard passenger vehicles safely for client outings or appointments, adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures
• Provide companionship and effective communication to foster trust and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, incidents, and client progress in compliance with agency policies
• Follow resident rights policies diligently, respecting each individual's dignity, privacy, and preferences

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for driving responsibilities
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training will be provided if necessary
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments is essential
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
