We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to work with an adult to Join our team and provide quality care to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily activities, including facilitating and transporting individuals to personal/community activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient and compassionate, and have experience working with teens/young adults, who have a background working with individuals. We are looking for someone who is reliable and committed to providing the highest level of care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with activities within community settings
• Providing transportation to activities
• Coordinating and collaborating with individuals, on scheduling future outings.
• Provide companionship and support to individuals.
• Supporting individuals in the community setting.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred, but not required
• 1-2 years of previous experience is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work in an environment with the potential for exposure to physical aggression from individuals served.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
