We are looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate and energetic caregiver who will help serve clients living in the Sylvester Georgia area. The primary purpose of this position is to provide personalized care based on the client's specific needs, and also includes meal preparation as well as household tasks. The ideal Direct Support Professional candidate excels at communicating with clients, has a background in home caregiving and is capable of working independently and being flexible in a client's home environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living; assist with feeding, bathing, and dressing.
• Alert other staff about clients' changes in status as well as behavior changes.
• Comply with client health care plans.
• Demonstrate compassion and understanding to clients and their family members.
• Deal effectively with difficult clients and their families.
• Follow healthcare facility regulations such as completing required forms and presenting necessary documents.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
