Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Newark, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
Approximately 25 Hours Per Week

EVECAL CARE is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a young client in Newark, Ohio.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young individuals and be committed to providing consistent, person-centered support while promoting independence, safety, and community involvement.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Approximately 25 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support and supervision
• Assist with daily living and personal care needs as required
• Engage the client in recreational and community activities
• Encourage independence and development of daily living skills
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Follow the client's individualized service plan
• Complete required service documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain professional communication with the family and EVECAL CARE management

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current automobile insurance
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional
• Previous experience working as a DSP, caregiver, or with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
