Direct Support Professional

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with autism, and those requiring dementia care. Duties

• Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
• Monitor and record vital signs as required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals.

Experience

• Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is preferred
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and techniques
• Knowledge of dementia care and senior care practices
• Experience in behavior management is an asset
• Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed
