What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you will support individuals in a residential setting by providing:

• Assistance with daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene)
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe home environment
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication support (if certified)
• Transportation coordination and community engagement
• Social activities, companionship, and meaningful interaction

Your presence, patience, and encouragement are the most valuable things you bring to this role.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow all agency policies and procedures
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Complete all required company training
• Meet attendance and reliability standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Availability every other weekend
• Clean BCI background check
• Med Cert 1, First Aid/CPR, and DSP 8-hour Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Ohio driver’s license (less than 4 points)
• Reliable personal vehicle with auto insurance
