Direct Support Professional

About the Role
Alpha Led Living Services, Inc. is looking for a dependable, caring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our West Memphis team. As a DSP, you'll support individuals with developmental disabilities in living full independent lives. You will provide compassionate, person-centered care while ensuring safety, dignity, and the rights of each person you serve.

The schedule will be Tuesday-Friday 10 hours per day.

If you're a CNA or have CNA experience and want a steady, full-time four-day schedule doing meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

● Provide direct care and support to individuals with daily living activities, including, personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, recreation, and community involvement

● Implement and follow Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)

● Monitor and document services provided, progress toward goals, and any changes in behavior, health, or well-being

● Foster a supportive and respectful environment that promotes independence, choice, and inclusion

● Administer medications and perform health-related tasks as trained

● Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

● Maintain compliance with all agency and regulatory policies and procedures

What You Need

● At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED

● Ability to pass all required state and federal background checks

● Willingness to complete required training prior to unsupervised client contact

● Ability to follow support plans, maintain documentation, and uphold confidentiality

● Reliability, responsibility, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to person-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

● CNA certification or CNA work experience

● Current CPR/First Aid certification

● Experience caregiving or supporting individuals with disabilities
