We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
• Provide care services with empathy and respect
• Assist with home community care activities as needed
• Support individuals with daily tasks
• Contribute to long term care plans and implementation
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
• Possess knowledge of first aid procedures and be prepared to act in emergencies
• Ability to drive to various locations for client activities
• Household tasks (cooking, cleaning)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when dealing with individuals in need of care
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus
• Ability to lift and move objects up to a certain weight limit as necessary
