Job Title: Direct Support Staff (Weekend Availability Required)

Location: Winnemucca, Nevada

Job Type: Full-Time (Must be available on weekends)

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Staff, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

This position is ideal for someone with a lot of patience and care, such as a teacher looking for a second job, or anyone with experience working with individuals in need of support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support with daily self-care activities such as hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.

Help individuals achieve personal goals and participate in community activities.

Ensure a safe, positive environment for individuals in their home.

Assist with managing daily routines and maintaining a structured schedule.

Provide companionship and foster independence.

Requirements:

Must be available to work on weekends.

Patience, understanding, and the ability to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Reliable, responsible, and able to manage time efficiently.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required—training will be provided.
