About the Role

We're looking for caring, dependable Direct Support Professionals to work one-on-one with an amazing individual in San Francisco. This person loves adventure and being out in the community, so we want someone who shares that energy and enjoys exploring the city.

You'll provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and help make each day safe, active and fun.

Available Shifts

• Overnight: 10:00 PM – 9:30 AM (live-in optional)
• Day: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Evening: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

We're hiring for:

• Full-time staff
• Backup or relief staff
• Alternative work schedules (tell us what works for you)

What You'll Do

• Support daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meals and household routines
• Join the individual on community outings, activities and adventures
• Watch for seizure activity and follow the seizure and safety protocols in their support plan
• Encourage independence, choice and personal goals
• Keep accurate daily notes and report any incidents
• Work as a team with other staff, family and the care team

What We're Looking For

• Familiarity with epilepsy and seizure support (strongly preferred)
• An adventurous, upbeat person who loves being out in the community
• Patience, good judgment, and a calm presence
• Dependable and on time, with good communication skills
• Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in a similar role is preferred
• At least 18 years old
• Able to pass a background check (fingerprint clearance)
