Direct Support Professional

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
• Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in community activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
• Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals in your care

Experience:

• Previous experience in patient care or home care is preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Familiarity with basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering first aid
• Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
