WHAT DOES A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL DO?

Help adults living with different-abilities with the following:

• Ambulation (walking with assistance, wheelchair use and hoyer lifts)
• Personal care tasks (like daily grooming, dressing, hygiene)
• Meal preparation, formula preparation
• Tube feedings and feeding with adaptive equipment
• Observing and reporting changes in consumer health/condition
• Cleaning and housekeeping tasks
• Goal achievement and independent living skills
• Hourly checks and positioning adjustments as needed throughout the night

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to be active on your feet for 8-10 hours
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
• Must be 18 years old

Pay: $15.85 - $16.85 per hour
