Coris Place is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Hanover Township, PA. Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support community integration by accompanying individuals to appointments, outings, and social activities
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Administer medications and monitor health needs in accordance with care plans
• Promote independence and self-advocacy skills among individuals served
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
• Respond appropriately to behavioral support needs using approved techniques

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in direct care, human services, or a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications
• Genuine empathy and commitment to person-centered care
