Partners In Progress (PIP) is looking for dependable, compassionate people to join our Residential Group Homes team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

As a DSP, you will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a comfortable, home-like setting. You'll help the Individuals we support live as independently as possible, participate in their communities, develop life skills, and enjoy everyday experiences.

You don't need prior experience. We provide paid training and the support you need to succeed!

What Does a DSP Do?

Think of yourself as a coach, advocate, and trusted support person who helps individuals reach their goals and live more independently.

Your day may include:

• Helping individuals with daily living skills and personal routines
• Supporting individuals with cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting, and other independent living skills
• Encouraging participation in community activities and everyday outings
• Providing transportation and safely accompanying individuals in the community
• Supporting individuals in reaching their personal goals and following their Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Keeping accurate records and completing required documentation
• Monitoring and reporting health or medical concerns
• Providing first aid and administering medications after appropriate training
• Advocating for the individuals we support
• Building positive relationships with individuals, families, coworkers, and community members

Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is helpful, but it is NOT required. We will train you!

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Satisfactory three-year driving history that meets Agency Auto Insurance requirements
• Satisfactory background clearances
• Ability to safely transport or supervise individuals during transportation

⚠ Important Schedule Information

This position requires availability for evening/night and/or overnight shifts.

We currently do not have Day Shift Only openings.

Some locations offer sleep-over overnight shifts, typically from approximately 10 PM–5 AM or 11 PM–6 AM, where staff are permitted to sleep while remaining on duty.
