We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and responsible individuals to fill weekend daytime and overnight positions in our residential group home setting.

In this important role, you will provide person-centered support that promotes independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being. You will assist individuals with daily activities, encourage independent living skills, support community participation, and help each person achieve their individual goals.

Whether working a daytime or overnight shift, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and comfortable home environment.

Please note: We are hiring for weekend positions only. Both daytime and overnight shifts are available.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene while promoting dignity and independence.
• Support individuals in developing daily living skills identified in their Individualized Support Plans (ISPs).
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed while following dietary guidelines and individual preferences.
• Provide medication assistance or administration as permitted by training, certification, and applicable requirements.
• Observe individuals for changes in health, behavior, or well-being and promptly report concerns according to established procedures.
• Assist with household routines, including cleaning, laundry, organization, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Support individuals with shopping, recreational activities, appointments, community outings, and other activities.
• Provide transportation assistance as required for appointments, activities, and community participation.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using approved techniques and equipment when required.
• Encourage individuals to make choices, develop skills, participate in activities, and work toward greater independence.
• Accurately document daily services, activities, progress toward goals, and other required information using designated software.
• Follow individual support plans, safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and organizational policies.
• Complete required training and maintain certifications necessary for the position.
• Communicate effectively with other staff during shift transitions to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Weekend Shift Opportunities

We are hiring for the following weekend shifts:

Weekend Daytime Staff

• Provide direct care and supervision during daytime hours.
• Assist with personal care, meals, household routines, and daily activities.
• Support recreational activities, community outings, and independent living goals.

Weekend Overnight Staff

• Provide supervision and support during overnight hours.
• Ensure individuals remain safe, comfortable, and appropriately supported throughout the night.
• Assist with nighttime personal care, toileting, and other needs as required.
• Complete assigned overnight household responsibilities and required documentation.
• Assist with morning routines and prepare for a smooth transition to incoming staff.

All weekend staff must remain alert, attentive, and responsive to individuals' needs throughout their assigned shifts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be available to work weekend daytime or overnight shifts.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent weekend attendance.
• Previous experience as a caregiver, Direct Support Professional, Personal Care Assistant, or in a healthcare or human services setting is preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, autism, or related support needs is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful approach to providing care.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Good judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow individualized support plans and accurately complete required documentation.
• Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, or software for daily documentation.
• Ability to safely assist individuals with mobility and physical support when required.
• CPR/First Aid, medication administration, and therapeutic options training are a plus.
