As a DSP you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. As a Job Coach you will assist individuals as they pursue competitive, integrated employment within our communities. This role plays a vital role in supporting individuals throughout the employment process, from job development and placement to on-the-job training and long term retention, ensuring each person receives the necessary support to succeed in work environments that align with their skills, interests, and career goals. Duties

· Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when necessary

· Administer medications following physician's order after obtaining Level 1 Medication Administration training

· Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas

· Assist with providing transportation to clients attending and obtain Class E license

· Support residents’ emotional and social needs through engaging activities, companionship, and encouraging participation in community outings or group activities

· Follow established care plans meticulously, documenting observations, interventions, and progress to ensure continuity of care

· Implement training plans to ensure successful employment for persons served

· Consistently model appropriate work skills and hold persons supported to the same expectations.

· Model and teach appropriate interaction with supervisors and co workers at job location

· Provide transportation to people supported as needed.

Skills

· Proven experience working with a focus on patient care and caregiving

· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient privacy and confidentiality

· Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification provided upon hire

· Possess a Class E drivers license upon hire

· High School diploma or equivalent (required)

· Strong observational skills for patient monitoring, including recognizing signs of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or other developmental disabilities

· Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, families, and other professionals

· Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals
