Skills in patient observation, medication management, patient monitoring, and implementing care plans are essential. Additional qualifications include familiarity with HIPAA regulations, CPR certification, and first aid training. Prior work involving heavy lifting or assisting with residents who require specialized memory or dementia care is advantageous.
