Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Community Care Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an adult participant in Neptune, NJ.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide individualized support while promoting independence, dignity, community involvement, and quality of life. Services are provided in accordance with the participant’s individualized service plan.

Position Details

• Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
• Position Type: Part-time
• Rate: $20–$25 per hour
• Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 5:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Hours: 6 hours per week
• Language: English

Case Requirements

• Behavioral experience required
• Comfortable supporting the participant in the community
• English-speaking

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support based on the participant’s individualized service plan.
• Assist with community activities and participation.
• Support daily living skills and encourage greater independence.
• Provide appropriate behavioral support and maintain a safe environment.
• Build a positive and respectful relationship with the participant.
• Document services and report relevant changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all applicable safety, confidentiality, and agency guidelines.

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience providing behavioral support is preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral needs is a plus.
• Must be dependable, patient, and comfortable working independently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of required background checks and agency screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be obtained prior to or during employment.
